For a film that has boxing as the theme which is being carved by newcomer Kiran Korrapati, mega hero Varun Tej has carved a bulky body with loads of detail. However, many felt that the mega hero lost his mozo during the lockdown as he discontinued workouts and put on lots of weight.
But then the actor stated that none of them is true. Actually Varun is getting trained in boxing from a long as first he has flown to Los Angeles to get trained under Olympic medallist Tony Jeffries supervision. Later he moved to Mumbai, to get trained by India’s popular boxer Neeraj Govat. And before the Covid-19 ensured lockdown in March, they have wrapped almost 40% of the film shoot too.
Varun Tej revealed that the good thing that has happened to him is that his other box coach is with him during the lockdown too. “For three months, the coach is with me and I’ve taken up almost 10 sessions a week in boxing apart from the regular fitness workouts I do,” says Varun Tej, putting a full stop to all the rumours.
This boxing movie is being bankrolled by Varun Tej’s cousin and Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Venkatesh (Bobby).
