Whenever star heroes and heroines do certain things, no doubts their fans will follow it. That’s the reason why sales of certain brands hit all time high when the likes of Mahesh Babu and Salman Khan endorse them. But not everything will be easily followed we must say.
Making the best use of lockdown, star heroine Samantha has focused on creating a terrace garden in her luxury residence on the 12th floor of a gated community in Gachibowli. No doubt, she boasts about that a lot on her Instagram stories as to how she has set up the farm, what she is growing and her feelings after looking at the first bunch of lettuce she harvested. It looks like she is now busy growing the bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, mustard greens, spinach, basil and other vegetables on her terrace, in an organic way.
Guess what, even if some of the fans wanted to grow organic vegetables in Samantha’s way, it’s quite a tough thing to do right now because of the costs involved. All those white stands and water setups Samantha purchased are very expensive as each table with water setup costs nearly 15-20K. And if one has to set up 4-5 such farms, you cannot understand how much needs to be invested.
Also, another thing is that the likes of basil, lettuce and bell peppers are something that many South Indians don’t indulge in their daily diet unless they are rich enough to buy such costly vegetables, and also if they are diet freaks.
