There is no use in holding leaves after catching fire and it looks like the makers of Sarkaaru Vaari Paata haven’t even thought about it, looks like. While this film that got released two weeks ago already lost its sheen, they are now coming up with strategies that don’t work.
Many thought that the makers of Parasuram directorial SVP will be promoting the most talked about SVP after the release in a big way. They were expected not only to release the super popular Ma Ma Mahesha song on YouTube but will also release the removed song Muraari Vaa on the video streaming site. That would have boosted the talk about the film and helped in getting more footfall into theatres.
Rather doing that, after the film lost its sheen and at a time when films like Adivi Sesh’s Major and Kamal Hassan’s Vikram are getting major attention as their release is scheduled for June 3rd, there is no use of SVP’s song now getting added to the silver screen version. At least releasing on YouTube would have created more buzz to the movie.
On the other hand, it is already known that Sarkaaru Vaari Paata is suddenly available on Amazon Prime Video on a pay per view basis.
