Former actress Jayaprada is planning to make a comeback to AP politics. At AP BJP’s Godavari Garjana, Jayaprada turned special attraction and she also got an opportunity to speak on this occasion.
Firstly Jayaprada apologised to the people of Andhra for leaving the Telugu land. “My birth place is Rajamahendravaram while my Karma Bhoomi is Uttar Pradesh and they are my eyes. Under some unforeseen circumstances, I had to move out of Telugu land and I would like to tender an apology for it,” said Jayaprada.
In the latter half of the speech Jayaprada hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union government. “BJP is in government in 18 states and PM Modi is responsible for it. In the last 8 years under the able leadership of Modi, things changed drastically,” stated Jayaprada.
On AP affairs, Jayaprada said that the state has turned into Appula (debts) Pradesh with seven lakh crore debts and loans. She appealed to the BJP cadre to work from booth level to strengthen the party in state.
Jayaprada’s presence and speech sparked a debate that she is returning to politics and is willing to contest in the next elections. As she said that she hails Rajamahendravaram, she might contest for the Lok Sabha seat but it’s a tough task for the former actress to beat the odds of YCP.
