Natural Star is against the thought of calling Telugu movies as “Pan India” movies before their release. He feels that films should be released first and then audiences should make them a blockbuster such that they could be called proper Pan-India movies. He examples Pushpa as the case, but then here is what happening with Ante Sundaraniki movie.
Whether that is due to the content that deals with the love story of a Hindu Brahmin guy and a Christian girl, or due to Nani’s aggressive promotions before hitting the marquee, tomorrow’s release ‘Ante Sundariniki’ got terrific applause all over.
With Nani promoting the film in Kerala and Tamilnadu as well, the film got a Pan India craze for sure while Hindi audiences are waiting to see the result such that they would either buy the remake rights or release the dubbed version.
No doubt, though Nani maintained that his film is not a Pan-India movie, finally the movie has turned out to be a Pan-India movie in terms of craze. And Nani might say that he will call it such a film only if the movie is released all over India. Well, when the percentage of the film-going audience is just 30% in the whole of India, one wonders why would any film be released throughout the country in all the languages. That’s next to impossible.
