The Telugu film industry is almost back to normalcy with the movie-making and releases without any Covid-related hassles. The cine workers who also struggled along with all other crafts of the film are now getting on strike with some demands of increments in the pay.
The cine workers claim that their salaries are not raised even though the film industry is back to where it was before the pandemic.

Cost of cleaner and production boys (Per day)
With (breakfast+ lunch and pick up from house – Rs1145
The expected price by the worker (30%) is Rs1488
On Sundays and holidays Rs 2290
Expected- Rs 2977
Cost of drivers per day with ( breakfast+ lunch) – Rs 1055
Expected – Rs 1362
On Sundays and holidays – Rs 2110
Expected – Rs 2743
Cost of light man per day – Rs 1100
Expected – Rs 1440
On Sundays and holidays – Rs 2200
Expected – Rs 2860
Fighters – Rs 3265
Expected – Rs 4244
Dancers – Rs 2800
Expected- Rs 3640
The film union appears to be mounting pressure on the federation for their wages increment and until the pay is raised they will go on with the strike.
