Karthikeya is a promising film in Nikhil and Chandoo Mondeti’s careers. The duo is back with the franchise film Karthikeya 2. The film is hit by the Covid-19 pandemic and finally it is getting released on July 22. The makers have unveiled the trailer of the devotional thriller.
It begins with an intriguing and lengthy dialogue “Shanthanu Idhi Nuvvu Aapaleni Yaagam; Nenu Samidhani Mathrame; Aajyam Malli Akkada Modalayyindhi; Pranathyagam Chese Thegimpu Untene Dhaanini Pondhagalam.” sets up the thrill mode perfectly. Going by the trailer, the film is about the adventurous journey to find the truth about ‘Sri Krishna’. The trailer says that it is Lord Krishna who is driving this story.
While Nikhil Siddharth takes the center stage, Anupam Kher and Anupama Parameswaran are just seen as a glimpse in the trailer. Karthik Ghattamaneni cranked the camera and Kaala Bhairava’s impressive back ground score compliments the visuals.
It seems, Karthikeya 2 will have more visual effects in addition to a dramatic narrative. However, the makers are planning to release a final theatrical trailer later. Let’s wait for it. Karthikeya 2 is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal under the banners of People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts.
