An audio recording of Tollywood’s comedian Prithviraj Balireddi, who is popular as ’30 Years Prithvi’ had gone viral some time ago, and that led to his sacking from the post of SVBC Channel’s chairmanship. He was heard saying in that audio to a woman, “I’ll hug you from the back”. After a long time, he tried to clarify the incident through ABN RK’s Open Heart program but tumbled big time.
Apparently, Prithvi stated that there are a lot of people around him when he said those words and he didn’t remember exactly the context of it. He later stated that someone might have taken a small word and made a huge fuss of it. He later clarified that the woman heard in the audio is actually a hairdresser from Tollywood and did the scene as she was sacked from a post in TTD. But one cannot understand what Prithvi is trying to say except for the fact he tumbled big time.
Later Prithvi added another interesting line to this: “A retired judge told me, what happens If I did hug someone from the back, and that should be a problem to my wife but not anyone”. Well, that is explaining so much stuff about the incident, while the rulers of TTD felt that Prithvi talking that way in temple premises is highly condemnable and removed him from the post. But the comedian adds, “I spoke those words in Tirupathi city, not on Tirumala hills”.
One really wonders what sort of explanation Prithvi is actually trying to give here.
