Excessive Violence Worrying Young Hero’s Film

Tamil director N.Linguswamy who has earlier delivered some superhit dubbed films for Telugu audiences including Madhavan’s Run and Vishal’s Pandemkodi, hasn’t done a direct Telugu film to date. And now he is coming up with Ram Pothineni’s “The Warrior” which is being released in Telugu as well as Tamil. And here’s the catch.

Reports are coming that the film’s final cut has started worrying the stakeholders of the Telugu version. We hear that Linguswamy has crafted a complete violence mass masala film for Ram, and the second half of the movie has turned out to be quite more violent than expected. Though the Telugu audience got inhabited to watching violent movies like Akhanda, producers of The Warrior are said to be worrying about whether the Telugu audience will accept Ram in such a role or not as this happens to be his first film as a police officer.

They say that right now Ram and Linguswamy are trying to tone down the violence in the second half, and are coming up with an alternate cut for the same. With the film’s release just a week away, the team wants to make sure that they have a winner on in the hands.
