Versatile actor ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram has reportedly suffered heart attack. According to media reports emerging from Chennai, the actor has been admitted to Chennai’s Kauvery hospital and a team of doctors are treating him. According to reports, Vikram’s condition is stable.
Vikram was supposed to attend the trailer launch of his upcoming film ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ today evening 6 PM in Chennai. Due to sudden illness, he was rushed to the hospital. More details are yet to come. Vikram is 56-year-old. He is health conscious and does workout regularly.
Upon hearing the news, Vikram’s fans and movie lovers are shocked. They are praying for his speedy recovery. Vikram acted in several languages including Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. He is known for his acting prowess. He acted in films like Siva Putrudu (Pithamagan in Tamil), Shankar’s Aparichitudu and et al. He won National Award for his acting. Vikram’s son Dhruv made his acting debut in 2019 with ‘Adithya Varma’ (Remake of Arjun Reddy). Dhruv and Vikram acted together in ‘Mahaan’ which was directly released on OTT recently. Vikram’s upcoming film Cobra is scheduled for theatrical release on August 11.
