Creative director Krishna Vamsi is gearing up for a comeback and last week he announced ‘Rangamarthanda’ without much buzz. This film starring Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna and Brahmanandam in the lead roles, would be hitting the box office next month.
After ‘Rangamarthanda’ Krishna Vamsi is planning a social drama titled ‘Annam.’ Besides this KV is also working on web-series for the OTT platforms. This line up suggests that Krishna Vamsi is going to get super busy in the coming days and would hardly have any time for other activities.
Amidst this Krishna Vamsi has ventured in a new business and he floated his own audio/music label. With the name S.I.L.K, Krishna Vamsi stepped into the music business which has a lot of potential. But why did KV name it as S.I.L.K?
S.I.L.K. is an abbreviation and when decoded it is S for Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry who is KV’s favourite lyricist and IL stands for Ilaiyaraaja, again KV’s all time favourite music composer and K is Krishna Vamsi himself.
‘Rangamarthanda’ music is composed by Ilaiyaraaja and this is Krishna Vamsi’s second film with the music maestro. The audio of the film will be out on SILK music label and the musical promotions will commence soon.
