Acharya has done more damage to the team now than when it was declared a disaster right after the release. The distributors and exhibitors pressurizing the director Koratala Siva for compensation appear to have upset him a lot.
While the reports are coming that Koratala has come forward to settle the row by compensating one of the buyers, a new report emerged from Mega camp.
The big talk from the Mega camp says that the Megastar Chiru and Ram Charan returned a sum of 20 crore rupees from their share as compensation for the losses caused by Acharya. Though this is not official and never going to be, the report is being spread so strong that the whole Acharya team will be able to put this all in the rearview mirror.
There were many colossal flops of many star heroes, but there are only a few instances where the heroes gave up their remuneration to settle the exhibitors’ losses. This might be called one of those rare scenarios, but again, there are some unanswered questions like, ‘Is the amount returned by the Charan and Chiru actually coming from the profits of Acharya, or did they return from their remuneration money to settle amicably?’ Well, that remains an enigma for now.
On whole, the strong word from Mega compound emphasizes that both Chiru and Charan did their part towards settlement. Like the punchline in the movie, this seems to be Acharya’s Gunapaattham!
