Ram and Lingusamy’s commercial action drama The Warriorr has got an average response at the ticket windows. The film that failed to impress critics and garnered mixed reviews has got very moderate result on opening day which is Thursday.
Whereas on the Friday, the numbers of Warriorr are poor. The collections witnessed a sharp fall of about 60 percent drop compared to the opening day numbers. With this, Ram and team have decided to up the film’s promotions.
Meanwhile, the Friday release Gargi, Sai Pallavi’s emotional drama laced with social message is lapped up by critics. But poor promotions have resulted in bad numbers. Despite good talk and word of mouth from critics, Gargi is lagging behind clearly.
The heavy rains and floods in some parts are adding to the woes of distributors and buyers this week. Due to climate, there is less footfalls in theatres.
For Ram’s Warrior Monday collections will be crucial, If the collections don’t improve and the same trend continues, The Warriorr may end up as a colossal failure in Ram’s career. Compared to other areas, Ceded seems to be in better spot for The Warriorr. Whereas Vizag and other areas are not as expected. Even though the songs were chartbusters before the film’s release, the numbers for The Warriorr aren’t great.
