The 68th National Film Awards announcement took place in New Delhi on Friday. Two popular actors from their respective industries bagged the ‘Best Actor’ award. While one is the Kollywood famous hero Suriya, the other is the Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan.
Ajay bagged the award for his Tanhaji, while Suriya achieved it for the Soorarai Pottru.
Speaking about these awards, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said, “I want to congratulate all the jury members and all those people whose work was reviewed and would like to congratulate those recipients who will be awarded the National Film Awards. A word of appreciation for everyone who has done an outstanding job.”
