‘Mega’ Affect On Mega Films!

The other day, the Active Telugu Film Producers Guild decided to withhold the shootings from August 1. The decision has been taken due to the changing revenue situations and increasing costs. The halt will continue until the producers guild comes up with possible solutions to all issues.

Various films in the shooting stage will be halted due to this decision. Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the heroes who will be severely affected by this decision. Three of his films are in the shooting stage, and works of all those flicks will be paused from August 1.

Chiru is currently shooting for Godfather, Mega 154 (working title), and Bholaa Shankar. Godfather makers planned to shoot a song with Chiru and Salman Khan in the first week of August. That may get pushed now.

In Mega 154, actor Ravi Teja joined the sets recently, and the makers are currently shooting important sequences with him and Chiru. Already, Ravi Teja’s dates are fixed, and the withholding of shoots will now delay this film’s progress as well.

On the flip side, director Meher Ramesh has already completed about 50% of Bholaa Shankar’s shoot. A key schedule is planned to be shot in August. The halt of shootings will affect these films of Chiru, especially Godfather and Mega 154, because the release dates of those movies are already announced.

Any further delay may make it difficult for those films to hit the screens per schedule. So, the industry sources opined that it is better if the producers guild sort the issues soon and resume the shootings.
