Though many star heroes do say that they don’t interfere with the work of the director once the script is locked, actually they involve a lot in the script itself which actually results in carving out disasters. In recent times, many star heroes got involved in script and all those big-budget moves are flops only.
Sharing his thoughts about the upcoming film “Ramarao On Duty”, Raviteja himself revealed that the director has initially come up with a soft story but made alterations later. “When the director narrated the story, I felt that the soft characterisation of the hero will not be an apt one for me. So we have added lots of other elements” he said. The original story written by Sarath Mandava is more on the lines of Mahesh’s Bharat Ane Nenu, they say.
“Actually the original is high on policies and policy changes politicians should do, but Raviteja made Sarath bring a lot of mass elements including item songs, fights, and masala comedy scenes too”, a source in the know commented. In that way, one could say that the true essence of the film got changed by Raviteja, but only the box office will decide if this is going to work or not.
They say that even during his previous film, Raviteja made lots of changes to Khiladi script and the director also made some other changes, and on a whole, they have carved a tasteless dish that served none. So we have to see if Raviteja’s inputs will work or not this time.
