While any other star producer would not have made such a comparison, if mega producer Allu Arvind does, surely that excites everyone. And also the comment sounds quite interesting as Allu Arvind compared “Karthikeya 2” to that “Akhanda”, and here’s how it went.
In fact, Arvind stated that when he watched Nandamuri Balakrishna’s “Akhanda” movie, he’s said to have discussed with a top director that Balayya and Co have taken up Siva Tatva angle and scored a blockbuster, and he wondered if they could take up Vishnu Tatva and score a similar hit. The star producer showered accolades on director Chandu Mondeti and the producers for using Vishnu Tatva and scoring a blockbuster through Karthikeya 2.
The technical difference between the two films is, however, that while Akhanda is more of Sivoham coming up to kill the baddies, Karthikeya 2 is all about finding the real truth of Lord Krishna and his anklet. Akhanda is more of using Lord Siva’s power to unleash upon the enemies, while Karthikeya 2 is more like the Hollywood movie ‘The Davinci Code’ where the protagonist embarks on a journey to unravel the mystery surrounding Jesus Christ and his missing family.
Anyway, Karthikeya 2 is turning out to be a major success in Telugu states as well as North India also as the screen count for the film is getting increased day by day.
