In the last two months, many heroes, both big and small, got scared to get into clash with other films and they have targeted one film a week. While some films got released, they sunk at the box office without any trace. However, it looks like September 2022 is going to become another mad rush month with many films targeting.
In the month of October, with Dasara commencing, big ticket films like Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather and Nagarjuna’s The Ghost are hitting cinemas. Also some other big projects might find their way into the holiday season. Owing to this, as theatres scarcity will be high, now other films of small heroes are hitting cinemas in September 2022 only.
Starting with Vaishnav Tej’s Ranga Ranga Vaibhavamga on Sept 02, we have Sharwanand’s Oke Oka Jeevitham, Kiran Abbavaram’s Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavadni and Satya Dev’s Gurtunda Seethakalam hitting cinemas on Sept 09. Sudheer Babu’s Aah Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali and Regina-Nivetha’s Sakini Daakini are confirmed for September 16th. Similarly, we have Naga Shaurya’s struggling film Krishna Vrinda Vihari and Sree Vishnu’s Alluri targeting Sept 23, but haven’t got confirmed yet. Apart from these movies, many other films are also trying to find a slot and will be fixing a date as per the availability of theatres in the month.
With the rainy season giving relief, it looks like all these films are expecting big at the box office, but if films like Liger (August 25th), and Vikram’s Cobra (August 31st release) click, then there will be a scarcity of theatres. Also what matters is content, but then, too many films at the box office are not going to excite the audience but they might look at OTT way too. Let’s see what happens.
