Talented Tamil hero Chiyaan Vikram’s ‘Cobra’ got delayed multiple times. After crossing all the hurdles, the film is set for a grand release on August 31st. With just a week for the release, the makers dropped the trailer.
Vikram plays a math teacher but he uses his mathematical skills to commit impossible financial crimes under the name of ‘Cobra’ that garner international attention. He believes that every problem has a mathematical solution. As the crimes pile up, a team forms to probe and trace Cobra.
The trailer shows Vikram in different get-ups and we get an impression of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Dasavataram.’ For umpteen times, Vikram has featured in such roles but the only difference here is the premise.
Former cricketer Irfan Pathan is making his acting debut with this film and he is the investigation officer who is hell bent to catch hold of the international criminal.
‘KGF’ heroine Srinidhi Shetty fills the female lead role and she is seen mostly romancing Vikram.
Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, ‘Cobra’ has music by AR Rahman.
