Nikhil Siddhartha’s Karthikeya 2 emerged as a huge winner at the box office. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, this film is being received extremely well in Telugu and Hindi. Recently, it crossed the might 100-crore mark as well. On this occasion, the makers held a press meet.
Actress Tulasi, who played a key role in the film, made some interesting comments at the event. She said that no one can stop a small rat once it manages to make a hole in the wall. She stated that no one could stop the film now.
She said, “This film’s mother is Chandoo Mondeti. Only a mother can get such love from all parts of the country. It started as a small film and is now being praised by everyone in India. People are trying to know about Chandoo Mondeti. Recently, I got a call from Australia and I was asked if Chandoo worked as a teacher or a lecturer in the past. I said I don’t know. They were asking because he filled the film with a lot of definitions about Lord Krishna. That proves his hard work.”
“There might be many languages but the meaning remains intact. A film should be like that. This movie appealed to all sections of the audience who speak different languages. Everyone thought Karthikeya 2 is a small film. But if a rat can make a small hole, it can do anything after that. We might be a small team but this film gave a wide recognition,” Tulasi further added.
She concluded by saying, “Earning 100 crores is not a huge thing for us. Earning the love and affection of a 100-crore audience is important. Let’s see who can stop this movie now. I was born and brought up in films. I am working in the industry for more than 55 years. If I can stay this long, anyone can survive here.”
