While the inaugural season of #BiggBossTelugu reality show was hosted by Jr NTR, Season 2 got hero Nani doing the honors. But then, after Akkineni Nagarjuna entered the third season, he was not in a mood to quit the show though he took a break a couple of times from the show by giving chance to Samantha once and Ramya Krishna later to host it.
According to the grapevine, to host Season 6 of this reality show on television, Nagarjuna is said to be charging a bomb. He’s said to be taking home nearly ₹15 crores as his pay packet to host this show that gets aired from September 4th. The previous year, they say that Nagarjuna took only half of it, but now, he’s said to have doubled it owing to the craze surrounding him to host the show.
Guess what, the likes of Kamal Haasan, Mohan Lal and even Sudeep who are hosting Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions of Bigg Boss are not even charging half of Nag’s pay packet. But anyway, Salman Khan is said to be charging nearly ₹350 crores to host this year’s Bigg Boss Hindi version. On that note, our south actors are literally taking home only peanuts.
