The much-awaited Pushpa 2 was launched recently in Hyderabad. The regular shooting is expected to begin in September or October. The main cast will reprise their respective roles in the sequel as well. Meanwhile, we hear that the makers are planning to rope in one more antagonist for the movie.
Already, the first part of Pushpa featured many villains like Sunil, Anasuya, Ajay, Ajay Ghosh and Fahadh Faasil. Now, we hear that director Sukumar is planning to include another negative character.
In the first part, Rao Ramesh played the role of a politician who supports hero Allu Arjun in running the red sandalwood smuggling syndicate. It seems that a new politician character will be introduced in the second part, who will counterattack Rao Ramesh and Allu Arjun, with the help of Fahadh Faasil and other villains.
It is heard that Sukumar is planning to get actors like Aadi Pinishetty and a few others for this powerful role. We may get an official announcement once the actor gets finalized.
The makers are planning to release Pushpa 2 during Dasara 2023. It will have a wide release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
