This is the second time that star director Koratala Siva’s hardcore fans got hurt by the words of Megastar Chiranjeevi owing to the fact that the matinee idol explained the importance of directors watching out their own script from an outside perspective to know if the film works or not. And currently, everyone is wondering about these back-to-back classes of Chiru.
Back during the promotions of Laal Singh Chaddha, Megastar brought to the notice of people that some directors write their lines and scenes on the set, and that is quite a wrong thing to do to not lock the script.
Other day at “First Day First Show” movie pre-release event, he stated that some directors rush to make a film because they have got a combination in hand. He advised directors to look the script from 360 degrees perspective, checking whether the movie lover who is paying Rs 200 per ticket will love it or not. This immediately pointed fingers at Koratala Siva, who delivered the first disaster of his career through Chiru-Charan’s Acharya.
While Koratala fans are complaining that Megastar has for the second time struck a blow at the director for giving him a flop, other movie lovers do say that he is only advising caution. Though it is right to an extent that Koratala came up with a damp squib script, it could also be said that an experienced star hero like Chiranjeevi shouldn’t blindly believe in a script, and should also contribute to the writing team to make a film work.
All said and done, films with routine content are not going to work in theatres anymore and that’s what everyone is saying including Megastar Chiru. That applies to both Chiru as well as Koratala and hope they both will score a blockbuster with their respective next, including Godfather and #NTR30.
