Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva is one of the upcoming pan-India films. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, the film is gearing up for a grand release on the 9th of September, 2022.
The film’s pre-release event was supposed to take place at Ramoji Film City today. However, the Hyderabad police officials have denied the permission for the event as they could not provide enough security at the event because of the Vinayak Visarjan.
SS Rajamouli who is presenting the film for the Telugu audiences made sure the event takes place at any cost. They have transformed the event into a press meet at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad.
Rajamouli along with the film unit, including the chief guest Jr NTR attended the press meet today.
During the event, Rajamouli funnily commented that Karan Johar is the reason behind the cancellation of the event at RFC. “I think Karan Johar did not do Ganesh puja properly because of which the event did not happen at RFC today,” said Rajamouli.
Rajamouli also shared that they have planned a lot of exciting things for the fans. “We planned many things but could not do them. Ranbir Kapoor who throws fire in the film will do something like that in real and we have arranged all the fire works. At the same time, in the end, Ranbir will ask Tarak ‘Thoda Kottu Chinna’ and as soon as Tarak slaps his thigh, the fireworks will be initiated. I was excited for the same and wanted to sit in the audiences and enjoy the same. Unfortunately, we could not do it today but we will do it in the success meet.”
Karan Johar is one of the producers of the film. Ayan Mukerji is the film’s director.
