Ace director Puri Jagan expected a lot from “Liger”, but then the film shocked everyone at the box office by ending up as a double disaster just by the end of the first weekend.
With no proper story and believable characters, the film hasn’t convinced even Vijay Devarakonda’s fans for a single watch. And then, reports are here that Puri and VD’s second venture, Jana Gana Mana stands down.
In fact, we has first revealed that Puri and VD will be continuing Jana Gana Mana only if Liger turns out to be a blockbuster, else the hero will move on to Samantha’s Kushi, while the director will carve out a small film with his son Puri Akash.
Reports are now coming that actually, the dashing director found an old Korean film very interesting and they are right now trying to acquire the rights of that movie such that he could remake it officially with Akash.
Back then, when Telugu filmmakers literally stole Korean films, people used to not know while production companies of those films will not have a clue. Now that Telugu films have gone far, each and every story is being looked into and it will be a risk to free-make it like Agnyathavasi, so the director’s company is said to be acquiring rights for the same.
