After a long time, King Nagarjuna made his comeback into Bollywood with the recent release, Brahmastra. Nag played a pivotal role in this movie. He also received critical and popular acclaim for his brief yet important cameo.
Nagarjuna also actively promoted Brahmastra along with the film’s lead cast and crew. Brahmastra was directed by Ayan Mukherjee and produced by Karan Johar. Meanwhile, Nag is spotted a couple of times in the last few days at Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions office in Mumbai.
Generally, actors don’t visit the production house’s office post the film’s release. Thus, it is speculated that Nag is visiting Dharma’s office for some other purpose.
If the grapevine is anything to go by, Nag wants to launch his son Akhil Akkineni in Bollywood. Maybe, he is planning to launch him under a big banner like Dharma. That is the reason why he is paying frequent visits to Dharma and holding talks with Karan Johar, say the sources.
Currently, Akhil is busy with the works of his next film, Agent. It will have a pan-India release. Some sources say that Nag is seeking Karan’s help in getting Agent a wider release in North India.
As of now, these all are just speculations and we have to see if we get any official confirmation in the coming days.
