Singer Sunitha has been tested positive for Covid-19. Sunitha, who is popular in Telugu playback singing, is said to have contracted the coronavirus when she participated in a music show for a TV channel. Apparently, some crew members of the TV show too tested positive and she seems to have stricken the virus. Sunitha is now under home quarantine.
Meanwhile, another young singer Malavika is also tested positive for Covid. According to reports, Malavika also participated in the same TV show and struck the virus during the making of the show. With this, many in the TV and film industry are expressing their serious concerns to take part in the shoots given the rapid increase of cases in the film and TV fraternity.
It can be noted that veteran singer SP Balasubramanyam, who is also suffering from Covid, is fighting the virus. He is hospitalized and he is under life support. Director Rajamouli has been recovered from Covid. Director Teja is also recovering from Covid. Several other producers in the industry have also tested positive.
