After struggling to score a hit for a long time, finally, Manchu Vishnu is coming up with a promising film like “Jinna” if the trailer of the movie is anything to by. However, his recent comments that there is severe scarcity of theatres and he has postponed his movie from October 5th as ‘biggies’ are not giving theatres to him, is going viral.
On October 5th, we have a small film (from a big production house) titled “Swathi Muthyam” releasing in theatres. As the film features a new hero and a relatively unpopular heroine, the film is not getting heavy footfalls though the content is good. Else, we could say that the star power of Megastar’s Godfather and Nagarjuna’s The Ghost crushed the chances of this good film. Imagine what would have happened if Vishnu arrived with Ginna?
Even if the content of Jinna is really good, surely the impact of Megastar Chiru and Nagajruna’s movies would have crushed it, says trade pundits. Noticing how Swathi Muthyam is suffering, probably Vishnu should understand that placing a film with big superstars will only weaken his own box office bonanza.
Jinna will be hitting cinemas on October 21st where it will compete with Vishwaksen’s Ori Devuda and Siva Karthikeyan’s Prince movies.
