‘Charan Is Rama, Chiru Sold His Assets For PRP’

Published by

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather hit the screens recently and is getting a good response from the audience. Even the collections are pretty encouraging. Celebrating the success, the team held a success meet last night in Hyderabad.

One of the film’s producers, NV Prasad, made some interesting yet controversial statements at the event. Prasad seems to be an ardent fan of Chiranjeevi and his family.

He heaped praises on Chiru, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan during his speech. He revealed some naked truth about chiranjeevi that he sold one of his expensive properties in Chennai and cleared all debts while shutting down Praja Rajyam Party. He also said that Pawan’s Jana Sena Party was born from the ideologies of the Praja Rajyam Party.

Prasad also said that Godfather is receiving a unanimously positive response across the country. He said that the whole of India is talking about Godfather. Speaking about Ram Charan, he said that India remembers him as Lord Rama. ‘For everyone, Ram Charan means Ramudu now,’ he stated at the event.

This statement is sparking controversy. It is known that Ram Charan appears in the getup of Alluri Seetharama Raju in the climax portions of RRR and he is symbolized as Lord Rama in those scenes. He got a terrific response for that getup. On the flip side, Prabhas is playing the role of Lord Rama in his upcoming film Adipurush.

The teaser of this movie was released recently and got a poor response from the audience. Meanwhile, Prasad might have taken an indirect hit at Prabhas by saying that Ram Charan can only pull off such a role and get a good response. Though Prasad didn’t clarify his statement, this particular bit of his speech is now going viral all over social media.
