Filmfare is the most prestigious awards event in the country. Every year, the awards ceremony takes place across languages. Last night, the South edition of the awards event took place in Bangalore. The jury has given awards for the films that were released in 2020 and 2021.
Pushpa: The Rise’s domination is visibly evident in the awards event. Mega Producer Allu Aravind got the Life Time Achievement award. The jury also honored Late Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry with Best Lyricist award for his song, Life of Ram in the film Janu.
