Why Is Acharya Paining Chiranjeevi So Heavily?

Published by

At no other time in his career, Megastar Chiranjeevi spoke so many times about his flop films. While he has given so many industry hits, he has also tasted the best of disasters too. And then, he has this habit of working with the directors of his disastrous directors again and again. But now, his rhetoric with “Acharya” is really surprising everyone

Though Chiru clarified that his comments about directors writing dialogues on the sets are not particularly about any film (read Acharya), already enough damage is done as many felt that the Megastar is targeting Koratala Siva. We do know that Chiru even spoke about how they have returned a larger part of their remuneration to the buyers to cover the losses. But why is the Megastar referring to Acharya again and again?

In fact, everyone knows that Chiru took Acharya’s failure quite personally because he expected that the first film where Ram Charan and himself shared a larger amount of space on the silver screen will get a rousing reception. Maybe that emotional pain that his combination with his son hasn’t worked well is upsetting the matinee idol more.

Some insiders revealed that Chiranjeevi never gave freehand to any director so far, but for Koratala Siva he has even allowed to cut down all the scenes featuring Kajal Aggarwal even after they were shot. Despite taking such authoritarian control over the script and filming, the way Koratala delivered a dud is said to have upset him a lot.

Whatever it may be, isn’t this time for Chiranjeevi to move on from Acharya as he spoke enough about the film, both, before and after the release?
