The latest sensation in Tollywood is the Kannada flick Kantara. After becoming a super hit in Karnataka, Kantara was dubbed into Telugu and was released last Saturday. Due to an excellent buzz, it got thumping openings in the Telugu states. The response is also huge, and Kantara will end up as one of the biggest hits ever among dubbed flicks in Tollywood.
Recently, a public reaction video about this film went viral on social media. In that video, we can see a lady praising the film for its rooted cultural content. She says, “Excellent film. Jai Ho Bharat. Jai Hindutva. This film replicates our amazing Indian culture. It promotes our age-old traditions and history.”
Of late, films having Hindutva content are becoming big hits at the box office. We have seen this trend in the case of movies like Akhanda and Karthikeya 2. Both films went on to become massive blockbusters. Will Kantara also joins the list? We have to wait and see.
Kantara is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. He also played the lead hero in it. Sapthami Gowda, Kishore, and Achyut Kumar played the other important roles in it.
