While the Indian release of “RRR” is going to be near a year already, still the enthusiasm that legendary director Rajamouli and his team including Ram Charan and Jr NTR are having to promote the film is getting applauded right now. Here’s what they have done in Japan now to get a stupendous reception for the film.
While October 21st is the release date of the RRR Japanese version, both Charan and Tarak along with their spouses have boarded a flight to Tokyo to catch up with Rajamouli and his wife Rama, who are already camping there along with their son Karthikeya and daughter in law Pooja. And to promote the film, not only did Tarak and Charan attend some events together, they have taken different routes as well to tour the country’s different cities and interact with different sets of audiences.
Tarak went a step ahead as he went a short speech in Japanese in his hotel time and impressed a couple of groups of the audience with his terrific uttering of the language. Like how the Telugu audience will feel happy if a hero/heroine from a North state speaks in Telugu, the Japanese fans broke into euphoria. At the same time, Ram Charan interacted with several school children, teens and other people from the Indian diaspora as well, promoting RRR and spoke to them in general.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli hasn’t only interacted with the audience, but he met numerous talented Japanese innovators, creators and other artistic folks, to have a cultural as well as artistic discussion. While Tarak became social media sensation already for his acts in Japan, Charan did his part and Rajamouli pushed the team forward to bring huge attention to RRR.
What’s to be seen is, if RRR will beat the collections of Baahubali and goes on winning more applause than Dangal or not. Let’s wait.
