Prabhas has plenty of films in the pipeline. While he is busy with four projects, three among which are Pan-India films. Among these three Pan-India films, the mythological drama Adipurush, directed by Bollywood director Om Raut announced its release date as January 12th, 2023, a few days back.
The teaser of the film was also released but bagged mixed reviews. Though the film locked Sankranthi release, it is a known fact that almost half a dozen films are lined up for a release during the same season for release.
Hence, right from the Adipurush release date announcement, speculations are rife that the film would get postponed. As the film is made on a high-budget, many opinionated that producers may not take high-risk by releasing the movie along with plenty of others.
Marking the same, now the trusted reports claim that this Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer is no longer releasing on January 12, 2023. A new release date will be reportedly announced by the producers shortly. Thus, being a pan-India film with high expectations, it would be in the best interests of the producers that they find a solo release for Prabhas’ film.
Bankrolled by T Series and Retrophiles, Adipurush is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Om, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair. This mythological film will be released in IMAX and 3D versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
