Five Flops In A Row, Still She Has 5 Films

Published by

Being glamorous is not enough to become a star heroine and being a terrific actress will not also do wonders, until and unless you’re backed by superhit movies. Box office result is what matters most of the time and that’s why starlets whose debut films have become superhit have turned into big superstars. And here comes the case of Rahul Preet Singh now.

After scoring a hit in Telugu with Venkatadri Express, everyone expected Rahul to reach stardom and similarly, she has done films with almost all the reigning stars of Telugu. But unfortunately, except for a couple of movies, things didn’t work for her in Tollywood, and she switched gears to Hindi movies then. Even there, Rahul is being bombarded with loads of films for reasons unknown, but her success rate is almost negligible.

In 2022 alone, she has seen releases like John Abraham’s Attack, Ajay Devgan’s Runway34, Akshay Kumar’s Cuttputli (OTT release), Ayushmann Khurana’s Doctor G and Ajay Devgan’s Thank God hitting the cinemas. However, none of these films won acclaim, nor they made it big at the box office.

One can easily say that she has almost five flops in a row in Bollywood, while she has five more releases in hand including Hindi films Chatriwali, Mere Patni Ki Remake, Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan, Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, and another bilingual movie. However, Rakul keeps getting more offers in Bollywood as well, thanks to her connections with senior stars.

Well, some heroines have done dozens of movies without any hits, and Rakul is falling in that line slowly, but hope she gets at least one hit film soon.
