For the past couple of days, young hero Vishwak Sen has been embroiled in a controversy ever since he exited from senior actor-director Arjun Sarja’s ongoing directorial in the last minute. Arjun even held a press meet and called Vishwak Sen an unprofessional and indisciplined actor.
And it was Vishwak’s turn last night to respond to Arjun’s allegations and explain his version. Vishwak was one of the guests at the teaser launch event of the upcoming film, Rajayogam. When a journalist asked him to respond to Arjun’s allegations, Vishwak said that one can’t find a committed and dedicated actor like him.
“I usually allot 40 days to shoot and another 20 days to promote it until the film reaches the masses. You can’t find a more committed and dedicated actor like me. I will quit films even if a spot boy proves that I am unprofessional,” said the Ori Devuda actor.
Vishwak went on to say that he had signed Arjun’s film out of sheer respect for the senior actor. “I grew up watching Arjun sir’s movies. I loved the story and was eagerly looking forward to joining the shoot. I received the first half of the script just a week before the first schedule. When I suggested a few changes, Arjun sir turned them all down and told me to not worry about the script and trust him blindly. I am an actor who believes in collaboration and give and take. Arjun sir should have considered at least 2 out of my 10 suggestions. Nenu kallu moosukoni kaapuram cheyyalenu (I can’t lead a conjugal relationship with my eyes closed),” Vishwak explained.
Talking about Arjun’s press meet, Vishwak said that he always believed in amicably sorting out issues behind closed doors. “Arjun sir decided to wash the dirty linen in public. This has pained me and my family a lot. People are only talking about how unprofessional and disrespectful I am, but no one is talking about how I struggled in the initial days of my career,” Vishwak concluded. Well, Vishwak’s clarification should put an end to the controversy.
