Every time a legendary celebrity expires, the big discussion that happens is about making a biopic about that said celebrity. This time, movie lovers are busily discussing if Mahesh Babu will also come up with a biopic on his father, late Superstar Krishna, with him doing the titular role. While this is not the right time to discuss it, doing a biopic movie is not at all the right thing.
If we look at Krishna’s life, it could be divided into many parts, say his entry into films, rise to stardom, producing his own movies, introduction of new technologies, shift from Madras to Hyderabad, his political career, personal life, second marriage to Vijaya Nirmala and much more. Even if the biopic is made into a two-part movie, it would look rushed. Actually, Krishna’s biopic could be a web series that can be stretched into 5-6 seasons of 10 episodes each.
Also, if someone wants to make a biopic of Krishna in a big way, surely they have to focus on the downside, the unknown side and the bad phase of the actor too, rather doing it with only the positive side of his cinema life. Otherwise, the movie will not sound honest and the result of such dishonest biopics is well known to Telugu industry.
