After making the biopic of GR Gopinath, the founder of Simplify Deccan airlines, as “Aakasame Nehaddhura” with Surya in the lead, it looks like director Sudha Kongara Prasad wants to tell more of such stories. And her next biopic, if rumours are to be believed, will be featuring the life and times of India’s biggest and most respected businessman, Ratan Tata.
A talk is doing rounds in Bollywood circles that the makers of KGF, Hombale Films, and heroes Abhishek Bachhan and Surya are coming together along with Sudha Kongara for a special film. The talk is that they are going to make the story of Ratan Tata, the former chairman of Tata sons and the super successful grandson of the legendary Jamsetji Tata, the founder of the Tata group. Ratan Tata shot to huge fame after he acquired Tetley Tea, Jaguar Land Rover group and Europe’s steel giant Corus.
If at all Abhishek Bachhan plays the role of Tata on the screen, he will earn the distinction of playing another such business personality after he played the role of Dhirubhai Ambani earlier in the film “Guru” carved by Mani Ratnam.
