Buzz: Balakrishna As Swamy Ramanujacharya?

Currently busy with the finishing touches of #NBK108 which happens to be “Veerasimha Reddy”, Nandamuri Balakrishna already got his 109th film launched today. This is being directed by Anil Ravipudi and the makers are heading to shoot already. Here comes an interesting detail about another project in the offing from the god of the masses. 

In his career spanning decades, Nandamuri Balakrishna has done a couple of mythological and epic films too. The likes of Srirama Rajyam and Panduranga Mahatyam have attracted crowds a lot, while the former saw huge commercial success as well.

And now, Balayya is said to be getting ready to bring the life and times of Swamy Ramanujacharya, the philosophical figure who stands tall for bringing out the Vishistadwaita subschool of Vedantha. He propagated Sri Vaishnavism throughout his life that dates back to 1000 AD and later. 

Reports are coming that producer C Kalyan who has earlier produced films like Parama Veera Chakra, Ruler and Jai Simha with Balayya is getting ready to bankroll this project, and most likely K Raghavendra Rao is going to direct the movie. Also, spiritual guru Chinnajeeyar Swamy will be assisting in the scripting of this project.
