Rashmika Reacts On Kantara Trolls & BAN Rumours

Published by

Rashmika Mandanna is one of the star heroines in Telugu who shot to fame with the films Chalo, and Sarileru Neekevvaru. With Pushpa, the actress too garnered the attention of the nation.

However, Rashmika started her career in Kannada cinema, with the film Kirik Party. Recently, she was trolled by the Kannada movie lovers for her comments on the film Kantara. Today, Rashmika broke silence on the same.

When Rashmika was recently asked if she watched the film Kantara, the actress replied that she had not watched it. It angered a lot of Kannadigas who trolled her online and there were even speculations that the Kannada film industry is planning to place a ban on the actress.

In one of the interviews, Rishab Shetty (director of Kantara & Kirik Party) indirectly took a jibe at Rashmika saying that he won’t work with her again in the future.

At a recent event in Hyderabad, Rashmika gave an explanation for the same. “They asked me if I watched the film Kantara right after the two days of the release and I honestly answered that I didn’t. But, I watched the film recently and even congratulated the team to which I also received a Thank You message from them,” said Rashmika, adding, “The world does not know what’s happening inside or in our lives. We are not those who put out messages outside also.” Rashmika even quashed the rumours that Kannada film Industry banned her, she said that so far she is not banned.

Rashmika handled this very well and has driven the issue to meet an amicable end. With this, we hope that the trolls and criticism against Rashmika will come to an end.
