Actor Suriya and his wife Jyothika have yet again shown their generous side by contributing towards the education of poor children.
Husband-and-wife donated Rs 1 crore from the success of their film ‘Jai Bheem’ towards the educational development of tribal children. A photo was posted on Twitter where Suriya alongside his wife are seen donating the cheque to Tamilnadu Chief Minister MK Stalin.
It is noted that ‘Jai Bhim’ had swept the country when it was released on the OTT platform during the lockdown. A true story of brave activist and lawyer Justice K Chandru, the film ‘Jai Bhim’ depicts how this young man fights for justice of a tribal man who was falsely implicated in a case and goes missing from police custody.
Actor Suriya is known for his generous heart as he keeps contributing significantly through various social activities. His Agaram Foundation which was set up by the actor in 2006 has made a vast difference in the lives of scores of underprivileged kids who are untouched by education. And the latest contribution from him is being hailed by Twitterati.
