Dil Raju On Pawan’s Film: ‘I prepared for loss’

Back then, just before the release of the film “Vakeel Saab” in Telugu states, the Andhra Pradesh government made sure to cease some theatres in the name of unjust practices and then passed a GO stating that ticket prices should be ₹10, ₹20, ₹30 in many rural and semi-urban theatres. This led to a huge shocker for all the producers, especially for Dil Raju whose film Vakeel Saab is about to release.

In fact, after the GO, Pawan Kalyan further attacked the YS Jagan government calling them names for taking Tughlaq’s decisions. In a recent interview, when asked if Pawan Kalyan’s words have affected him badly, Dil Raju made an interesting comment. “Pawan Kalyan Garu speaks openly, and he will be like that only. He wouldn’t be worried about his films and their future for anything. When Pawan Kalyan scolded the Andhra Pradesh government I prepared for a financial loss that I might incur in at the box office”.

When pressed if he’s worried about the film’s fate and got scared, Dil Raju articulated, “I’m not scared. I’m not going to die if this film fails, I will just lose some money. So there is no point in getting scared. I’ve prepared myself for financial damage, but nothing more than that”.

At the same time, Dil Raju also stated that the media could call these things in whichever way they like when it comes to AP Govt issuing GO on ticket prices, Pawan Kalyan condemning them; Chiru meeting AP CM to solve the crisis, and producers not hiking ticket prices anymore now.
