South India’s famous AVM Studios has given a Paper ad on Saturday. The ad says one of the oldest studios in India is now open to marriages and other functions. This is the plight of many studios across the country.
Studios are either diverted to other purposes or used for real estate purposes. But it is a different story in the case of Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad which is one of the busiest studios in the country today.
Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad not only remains a traditional studio providing infrastructure to the film and television Industry but also became a major hub providing facilities like post-production facilities, film distribution, television production, a thriving film school and various OTT productions on the floor.
The studio is also going to have a state-of-the-start LED virtual production stage which is expected to change the face of production in the future. This is expected to bring a big boom for the infrastructure and service industry behind films.
