Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman of ‘Black Panther’ fame has passed away of cancer. The official Twitter handle of Boseman posted a note which confirmed his death.
It read, Chadwick was diagnosed with stage-3 colon cancer in the year 2016 and battled with it these last four years. But the cancer kept progressing towards stage-4 leading to his passing away.
Boseman died at his home in the Los Angeles area with his wife and family by his side, said the statement.
He was born on November 29th, 1976 in South Carolina. He started his career with television and stepped into films in 2008. In 2016, he appeared in Marvel’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and went on to play the role of King T’Challa which was a key role in the Avengers.
Boseman’s last film is ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom’ which is yet to be released.
