Chinmayi Sripaada took to Instagram to share a video posted by a media publication in which, several derogatory and sexual comments were seen being made about Lady Superstar Nayanthara.

The video is from the screening event of Nayan’s latest film “Connect”. She pointed out those sexual comments and also expressed her displeasure over the fact that she was restricted from posting any comments on the same post while the sexual trolls didn’t face any restrictions. She also pointed out that a sex educator’s comment was deleted while the inappropriate commenters still got to comment whatever they wanted. 

The singer took to her Instagram story and wrote, “I AM WONDERING – WERE ALL THESE MEN BREASTFED OR NOT? I WONDER WHAT LL HAPPEN IF THESE MEN HAVE DAUGHTERS. NO WONDER SO MANY MOTHERS WANT THEIR DAUGHTERS TO WEAR A DUPPATTA AROUND THEIR OWN SONS AND HUSBANDS. DO THEY KNOW THAT MEN WILL SEXUALIZE AND CANNOT CONTROL THEIR PHEEELINGS EVEN IF IT IS THEIR OWN DAUGHTER / SISTER?.”

Chinmayi, a popular playback singer across all film platforms is quite known for her feminist activism, especially in a case related to lyricist Vairamuthu for which she even faced significant backlash from the Tamil film Industry.
