With the release of her latest film “18 Pages” along side her “Karthikeya 2” co-star Nikhil, Anupama has stolen all the praises and appreciations. Even though Nikhil did justice to his role in 18 Pages, it’s Anupama who caught all the attention from audience for her mesmerising performance.
Debuting with Malayalam blockbuster and cult classic “Premam”, Anupama Parameshwaran received various offers from Tamil and Telugu industries too. But it was in the Telugu industry that she shone to fame. It was even expected that she would become one of the top heroines in TFI.
But by 2019, her offers decreased significantly and all thought that her career was over. But during the covid time, she reinvented herself and acted in the much acclaimed short film “Freedom @ Midnight” due to which she came back in limelight.
After this, she delivered a Pan-India blockbuster with “Karthikeya 2” but her role was limited in this flick. Then came “18 Pages” written by Sukumar and directed by “Kumari 21F” fame Palnati Surya Pratap in which her performance received much praise.
The audiences related so much to her role that when she comes back to life in her film, audience responded very well. She acted very believably in her low makeup and traditional role. This act of hers might bring her back into the race of top heroines as the film is also doing well at the box office.
