Watch: Rashmika’s Comment On South Songs Is Disastrous

Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna has made it big in the Telugu industry with back-to-back films, and then she has become a top starlet here. Afterwards, she has become a sought-after starlet in Bollywood too though she has no single hit to her credit there.

But it looks like Rashmika wants to fire all the guns to bring attention to her new movie, Mission Majnu, featuring Siddharth Malhotra in the lead.

Other day at the promotional event of Majnu, Rashmika made some disgusting comments about the South film industries. “Bollywood romantic songs are a thing. Growing up, in the south we have all mass masala, item numbers and dancing songs” said Rashmika, praising the romantic song from “Mission Majnu” movie that was just released. What is disgusting is that Rashmika is part of both romantic numbers, musical hits and mass songs as well in her career so far in Tollywood, and yet, she disgraces South film industries like this.

Forget about her Kadalalle song from Dear Comrade, even her Pushpa heroes Allu Arjun and Sukumar delivered the best romantic and montage songs in films like Arya. Some even reminding the classics from AR Rahman and Maniratnam movies.

While some of the hardcore fans of the actress are defending her on the videos being shared on social media, others could be seen commenting that Telugu and Tamil audiences will now understand why Kannada audience hate this actress.

Some film lovers tagged Allu Arjun with that video and asked the Pushpa star to kick her out of Pushpa 2. ‘While praising one, she will degrade another’ another user commented. Some stated that featuring in a couple of Bollywood films and Rashmika is turning out to be fully arrogant like how the likes of Ileana have done earlier.
