Ever since Samantha Ruth Prabhu started doing fewer films here due to the jolts she faced in her personal life first and with health later, she slowly lost not only some big projects but her big position too. But we have to also say that since she got married, she started distancing herself from the No.1 chair of Tollywood, but the surprising thing is, no one sat in that yet.
Apparently, the likes of Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna did some big films in recent times but the lack of Telugu films consistently in a row and lack of any big Telugu movies in hand are not making them become that ’numero uno’ starlet of Telugu cinema.
At the same time, the likes of Kriti Shetty from the young brigade have shot to huge popularity but she too missed out on scoring big hits in a row. And other starlets like Anupama Parameswaran, Neha Shetty and Mrinal Thakur have just scored some big hits and don’t enjoy that mass following too. So naturally, they are not the contenders.
The only heroine who sounds quite promising, and who could give huge competition to the likes of Pooja Hegde and Rashmika is none other than Sreeleela at the moment. At the same time, we have Shruti Haasan back into the game with Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, and if she bounces back, surely she will be another big contender for the top seat.
