Though his films are not doing well, mass raja Raviteja always stayed in the news for demanding hefty paychecks. During the times of movies like Khiladi, he’s said to have demanded nearly ₹15+ crores as his paycheck. And later for Ramarao On Duty, he even took a share in the profits, but then here goes the twist.
After the flop show of Ramarao On Duty at the box office, in fact Raviteja felt that taking a share in profits is cutting down the amount he will take home in case the film flops at the box office. As the producers will not be getting much profit if the film fails to click, automatically the amount that comes down as Ravi’s share will be low. Keeping that in mind, he’s said to have charged only remuneration for “Dhamaka” without asking for a share in profits.
Now that Dhamaka has collected nearly ₹96 crores gross in 12 days of run at the box office, easily the star would have clocked more than ₹25+ crores to home in case he took a share in profits. But now, he has to settle down only with the ₹15-18 crores remuneration he is paid. That’s called fate, because when he opted for share deals, films flopped and now the vice versa of it is happening when he has quite share deals.
