Kantara & The Kashmir Files Make It To Oscars Shortlist

Director Vivek Agnihotri’s last film The Kashmir Files starring Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar, and Mithun Chakraborty, was well-received by audiences worldwide. The film now makes it to the Oscars shortlist.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the list and RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi, and Kantara are eligible for the Oscars. The Kashmir Files will have to clash it out with 300 other movies.

This film produced by Abhishek Agarwal is based on the issue of atrocities against the Kashmiri Pandits and their exodus from the Kashmir Valley.
